My Little Man is Turning Six Years old

Wow Where did the last six years and 9months go. I feel like it was yesterday that I was carefree and 19 without anykids and now I am 26 years old and a Mother of two. One of Witch will be six years old on Saturday Aug. 27th. I first realized I might be pregnant on December 31st, 2004 New Years Eve and derided that was as good a night as any to buy and take a test. Then on Jan 18th, 2005 I got my 1st sneak peak at this little Jelly Bean.
Then my belly just grew and in April of 2005 I got to take another peak and try and find out what this Jelly bean was a boy or a girl? I was pretty excited when the Dr. Typed Across the U/S Screen "I am a Boy"
And then a few weeks later I got another peak and he was sucking his tumb
Then on Aug 26th, 2005 I went into labor and even though I started pushing at 11pm that night he was not born until 3:37am Aug. 27th, 2005
Jordan Aruthur was 7lbs 9oz and 21inches long
And then they let me hold him
Little Angel

Welcome little angel into this world
Here with us you are meant to be
A precious gift we are given to love
For all of our days and eternity

You are so special little angel
There is no other exactly like you
Who fills our days with joy and meaning
With all you are and say and do

We love you little angel with all our hearts
You are a part of us now and forever
This journey we will share and cherish
As we love and grow together

You make life beautiful my little angel
The sun never did shine so bright
The skies never looked so blue and heavenly
Until you came into our lives

and then NaNa held him

A Mother's Letter To The World

                                         Dear World:
My son starts school today. It's going to be strange
and new to him for a while.
And I wish you would sort of treat him gently.
You see, up to now, he's been king of the roost.
He's been boss of the backyard.
I have always been around to repair his wounds,
                                      and to soothe his feelings

But now-things are going to be different.

This morning, he's going to walk down the front steps,
wave his hand and start on his great adventure
that will probably include wars and tragedy and sorrow.

To live his life in the world he has to live in will require
                                   faith and love and courage.

So, World, I wish you would sort of take him by his young hand
and teach him the things he will have to know. Teach him-but gently, if you can.
                                  Teach him that for every scoundrel there is a hero;
                                   that for every crooked politician there is a dedicated leader;
that for every enemy there is a friend.
Teach him the wonders of books.

Give him quiet time to ponder the eternal mystery of birds in the sky,
bees in the sun, and flowers on the green hill.
Teach him it is far more honorable to fail than to cheat.

Teach him to have faith in his own ideas,
even if everyone else tells him they are wrong.
Teach him to sell his brawn and brains to the highest bidder,
but never to put a price on his heart and soul.

Teach him to close his ears to a howling mob...
and to stand and fight if he thinks he's right.

Teach him gently, World, but don't coddle him,
because only the test of fire makes fine steel.

This is a big order, World, but see what you can do.
He's such a nice little fellow.

                                                       ...Author Unknown

and then he was Finally five!
and he played Tball
And then He Graduated Kindergarden
and then he was a Rodeo Cowboy who Mutton Busts

and then he learned to swim
and then he did Basketball
and then he desided to try Tennis
and in a few short hours my silly but very handsom little man will be 6 years old.
Happy Birthday Jordan Arthur Mommy loves you more then you will ever know!
